David and Judy's missionary trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with Joni and Friend's Wheels for the World: In September David and Judy traveled to Rio de Janeiro as members of Joni’s Wheels for the World [WFTW] Team to Brazil. What a privilege after all the blessings we have received in life, to give mobility to the disabled in yet another country in the world. With our distribution site in the ballroom at a naval yacht club and with the 120 foot tall Christ the Redeemer watching over us all, it was by far our favorite Wheels trip. |
A view out our balconey room at Norway

13 night cruise to Russia and the Scandinavian countries June 8th, 2008 marked our 40th wedding anniversary which we commemorated with a 13 night cruise to Russia and the Scandinavian countries. Exploring ports of call in Lithuania, Estonia, St. Petersburg Russia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway was exciting but our cruise rating jumped from Excellent to Outstanding thanks to our balcony room aboard the Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Sea. Tulip Days in Holland Michigan We welcomed 2008’s glorious spring season in Holland, Michigan - the home of the USA's equivalent of the Netherlands annual tulip festival. What a treat to combine the enjoyment of nature’s alleluia in tulips with visits with family in Illinois and Michigan. |
Dennis Harbor family enjoys ride on the Rogue
|
Visits from relatives and friends Sheep’s Rest has enjoyed many overnight guests and hosted board meetings, barbeques, and swim parties. If you come between Memorial Day and Labor Day chances are good you’ll ride the Rogue in a Hellsgate jetboat. Please do consider a stay with the Squiers in southern Oregon for a 2009 vacation.
