2008 is already here; God’s gift of another year. David and Judy have acclimated well to Grants Pass, Oregon plus we do enjoy a few days each month living our California life down in the San Francisco Bay Area, while David does consulting at Lockheed Martin. All of the kids are there so our seven hour drives provide a monthly family reunion. God has blessed us with two wonderful worlds in our retirement.

Judy's Speaking and Writing

Judy gave her first speech, "Learning to Walk with Artificial Limbs," at age thirteen. This message evolved into "Learning to Walk with Jesus Christ." Speaking opportunities have been ongoing and ever changing, expanding into workshops and keynoting addresses both on a national and international level. No matter what the venue, however, her theme remains the same: God shows up in life's pain, converting suffering into a reason for rejoicing.

Judy's writing career began ten years ago with her signature article "Celebration on Hold." She enjoys writing "how to" travel articles for the disabled for SpeciaLiving magazine, and free-lances for half a dozen other publications. Her inspirational stories have appeared in numerous book compilations, most recently in Cup of Comfort for Weddings.
